California State University, Stanislaus continues to receive high praise from many publications, this time ranking among the best universities in the western United States.
The University was recently ranked among the top 10 schools in the west for being the “best bang for the buck” for students.
The Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck — Western Rankings” list, which is comprised of both public and for-profit universities, features eight California schools in the top 10, including five CSU campuses.
CSU Stanislaus was ranked 10th out of 233 schools on the list.
The list is derived from the recently published “The Other College Guide: A Roadmap to the Right School for You” by Jane Sweetland and Washington Monthly editor Paul Glastris. The book ranks 1,540 U.S. colleges and universities in five areas: net price based on annual family income, graduation rate, student loan default rate, percent of applicants admitted, and applicants’ ACT/SAT scores.
