Suspect Arrested After Injuring Female in Fight, Kicking Police Officer

After fleeing the scene of a fight with a female, a suspect was ultimately located inside of a Downtown business and arrested on Monday morning.

Turlock police responded to the 400 block of Crane Avenue on the report of a fight in progress at approximately 9:42 a.m. on Monday.

When officers arrived, the suspect, later identified as Joseph Trimble, 23, had fled from the scene, reports the Turlock Police Department.

Trimble was later located inside a business in the 300 block of E. Main Street.

While officers were taking him into custody and placing him in the patrol car, Trimble kicked one of the officers, reports the Turlock Police Department.

He was ultimately apprehended and arrested on suspicion of battery and resisting arrest. Trimble also had an outstanding parole violation and was subsequently additionally charged.

The victim involved in the reported fight, a female, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but was not transported to a hospital.
