Suspect Found with More Than 30 Altered Credit Cards

A suspicious transaction on March 31 led to the arrest of a suspect with more 30 altered credit cards.

Isaac Bazan, 33, was arrested and booked on suspicion of credit card fraud.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, the Turlock Police Department received report of a suspicious transaction that had just occurred, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The reporting party believed the suspect had been in possession of multiple credit cards, said Lewis.

Officers responded to the Motel 6, located at 250 S. Walnut Rd., and contacted Bazan.

Turlock police found that Bazan was in possession of more than 30 credit cards, which had been altered to have the suspect’s name, said Lewis.

Bazan was subsequently arrested.
