Crowell, Dutcher Lockdowns Lifted after Apparent Gas Leak

The Turlock Unified School District is reporting that lockdowns at both Crowell Elementary and Dutcher Middle School have been lifted.

The schools were placed on lockdown due to a gas leak in the residential area of Hawkeye Avenue, according to TUSD.

Parents from the schools were notified of the lockdowns via phone call from the school district around 3 p.m. Monday.

At 3:17 p.m., TUSD announced that the lockdowns for both school were lifted and the students at their respective schools were released for the day.

“The lockdown at Crowell Elementary and Dutcher Middle School has been lifted and students have been released for the day,” announced TUSD on their website.
