Turlock police are looking for the driver of the vehicle that struck an 11-year-old boy who was riding his bike on Soderquist Road on Sunday night.

The boy was riding his bike in the bike lane on Soderquist Road near Flower Street around 9:30 p.m. when a vehicle hit the boy, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The vehicle, which was occupied by several unknown subjects then drove off.

Witnesses told police that the vehicle was a newer grey four-door vehicle, drivien by a white male, said Lewis.

The 11-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Lewis.

Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-1200.
