Vehicle Reported Stolen Out of Texas Found in Turlock

A female suspect was arrested after she was found driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Texas, reported the Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force (StanCATT) on Tuesday.

On June 18, StanCATT officers located a 2015 Kia Soul parked at the curb on Shetland Way, west of Buckskin Way in Turlock.

According to StanCATT, the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Texas as of Feb. 8.

Officers observe the vehicle become mobile with a female subject, later identified as Teahnane Rickard, 37, driving the vehicle.

The vehicle stopped at a grocery store in Turlock and the driver was taken into custody with the assistance of the Turlock Police Department.

Rickard was arrested for auto theft and possession of a stolen automobile.
