Traffic Advisory: Fire at Canal and Soderquist

The Turlock Fire Department responded to a fire around 2 p.m. this afternoon in a residential area.

Turlock firefighters are on scene at the corner of Canal Drive and Soderquist Road.

Soderquist is blocked off south of Canal Drive and at Chestnut Street.

Traffic is being signaled down side streets.

School is being released during these hours and student-related traffic delays might occur.

As of 3 p.m., fire crews were still on scene, however, roads are expected to be cleared by around 4 p.m.

No information has been released officially.
