Guard Assaulted During Pallet Theft

Police responded to an assault that occurred during a pallet theft this afternoon.

Early reports indicate that the assault was between a security guard and a Hispanic male, and that the suspect was attempting to load pallets into a pickup truck, when he was confronted by the security guard.

When confronted, the suspect fled and reportedly struck the vehicle causing damage to the vehicle. This vehicle was described as an extended cab pickup.

This incident occurred at approximately 12:40 PM behind Emanuel Hospital.

Police responded to the scene to continue the investigation.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
