Christina Marie (McDaniels) Marion

April 1984 – December 2019

Christina Marion slipped from this life in the early hours on December 12, 2019. She was 35.

Christina Marie McDaniels was born to Anthony and Donna McDaniels on April 12, 1984 in Los Banos, California. Christina was reared in Dos Palos and graduated from Dos Palos High School in 2002. She attended California State University Bakersfield where she was an honor student and graduated with honors. She received her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice in 2007. She also received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from CSU, Bakersfield in 2009. She graduated Magna Cum Laude for both degrees. She became a member of the National Association of Social Workers upon receiving her Masters in 2009.

Christina met Todd Marion, Jr. who she would call her “tall glass of chocolate milk” while in college, they married in 2010 and made their home in Turlock, California. On December 11, 2013, Christina gave birth to two angels whom she is now finally able to hold, hug and kiss. Todd and Christina were blessed with Tamara Marie Marion on December 17, 2014 and with Caleb Quinn Marion, November 6, 2015.

January 2019, Christina created a nonprofit organization: Girl With a Scar.

Celebration of Life Service will be held, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, California 95380.
