Domestic violence situation turns into shooting

On Thursday, September 17th, 2020, at approximately 10:40 pm, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a shooting in the 1200 block of Lambert Way. Officers responded to the scene and made contact with the victim who stated her ex-boyfriend came to her house angry. He was told that he was not welcome at the residence and was told to leave. He then pulled out a firearm and made a verbal threat, placing the victim in fear.

The victim then reported that the suspect turned around and fired his gun into the air, prior to getting into his vehicle and leaving. No injuries resulted from this incident. The suspect has been identified, however, his identity will not be released at this time. Officers checked the area and some other locations that they had intel that he may be at, however, were unable to locate him. He is currently wanted for the shooting.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
