Boyfriend breaks into girlfriend’s house, resists officers

On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020, shortly before 11:10 pm, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a disturbance in progress in the 3600 block of Nicole Ct. The reporting party reported her that her boyfriend, who was intoxicated, was outside of her residence threatening to break her door down. While officers were responding, the reporting party advised that the suspect broke her window and made his way into the residence. This prompted officers to upgrade to an emergent response.

When officers arrived, they located the suspect inside the garage. Officers ordered the suspect to exit the garage, however, he failed to comply with those orders. When officers attempted to take him into custody, he resisted them and made verbal threats. After a short scuffle, officers successfully took him into custody without further incident.

The suspect has been identified as Jesus Peral, 36, of Turlock. He was arrested and booked into Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of resisting a peace officer and resisting a public official with threats or violence. The victim did not want to prosecute for any burglary or vandalism related charges.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
