Convenience store robbed at gunpoint Monday evening

On Monday, December 14th, 2020, at approximately 5:15 pm, the Turlock Police Department received a call of a robbery at gunpoint that had just occurred at the Amar Fashion and Grocery Bazar located at 1801 Lander Ave. The victim on the phone stated that the suspect robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash at gunpoint and left the store on foot. The description provided for the suspect was a black male in his twenties who was armed with a handgun.

Officers arrived on scene within a few minutes. A couple of officers cleared the business and made contact with the victim while others checked the area for the suspect. No suspect was located.

Teen Shot in the Rear-End by Other Teen

At about 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s and Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense that had just occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Kenwood Avenue, after several callers had reported hearing about 10 shots in the area.
