At about 6:10 pm Thursday evening, the Turlock Police Department and Stanislaus State Police Department were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with unknown injuries at the intersection of West Taylor Road and Geer Road, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. One was a black Nissan SUV and the other was a silver Hyundai sedan. All occupants of both vehicles sustained no injuries.
Officers remained on scene assisting the involved parties with exchanging information and providing traffic control until a tow truck could arrive for the silver Hyundai sedan, as it was rendered inoperable as a result of the collision and was sitting in the middle of the intersection.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
Both vehicles sustained moderate to major damage and had to be towed away from the scene.
