At about 2:01 pm Thursday afternoon, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Fulkerth Road and Countryside Drive, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a white Cadillac sedan and the other was a white Jeep SUV. The driver of the white Cadillac sedan, who was its only occupant, was uninjured. The driver of the white Jeep SUV, who was also its only occupant, suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
Witnesses reported that both vehicles were traveling eastbound in the right lane of Fulkerth Road going through Countryside Drive when the white Cadillac sedan rear ended the white Jeep SUV.
The driver of the white Cadillac sedan was arrested and released on a citation for driving with a suspended license. His identity is currently not available.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and had to be towed away from the scene. The roadway was cleared in just over thirty minutes of when the collision had occurred.
