At about 11:33 pm Tuesday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported hold-up alarm at Quik Stop, 2406 West Monte Vista Avenue, Turlock. While officers were en route to the business, a call came in from the clerk reporting that he had just been robbed by two people at knifepoint. The clerk provided a description of the suspects to dispatch, which was relayed to the responding officers who checked the area, but were unable to locate them.

As officers arrived on scene and met with the clerk, he reported to them that two Hispanic males in their twenties, one armed with a knife, came into the store and demanded that he give them currency and merchandise. The clerk complied, and then the suspects left the store. It is currently unknown if they left on foot or in a vehicle.

Officers collected surveillance footage from the store and will be following up.
