At about 7:54 pm Tuesday evening, the California Highway Patrol, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries on northbound State Route 99 just south of West Taylor Road, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located a single vehicle involved which was a silver Chevrolet sedan. The vehicle was overturned on its side in an embankment just east of the freeway.
The vehicle had a single occupant who suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital after being helped out of the vehicle by firefighters.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
