At about 10:27 am Monday morning, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to reported wires down at Turlock Nursery School, 415 Grant Avenue, Turlock.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they located part of a tree on the ground that had brought some power lines down with it. Firefighters stood by until Turlock Irrigation District could respond to secure power and conduct repairs.
Firefighters also assisted with parents picking up students from the preschool.
