At about 6:57 pm Tuesday evening, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at a residence in the 500 block of Georgetown Avenue, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located one vehicle involved which was a silver Toyota sedan.
The vehicle had fallen on the hand of a man working on it after the jack failed and his hand was still stuck. Firefighters worked to free his hand and then he was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The vehicle did not sustain any damage but was towed away from the scene as it was parked in the middle of the road and was a hazard.
