At about 9:50 pm Wednesday night, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of North Washington Road and West Main Street, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a white Toyota pickup truck and the other was a white Lexus sedan. The white Toyota pickup truck was on its roof and all occupants of both vehicles were standing outside of their vehicles.
One of the occupants of the white Lexus sedan suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital. It is currently unknown how many other occupants the white Lexus sedan had and how many occupants the white Toyota pickup truck had.
Both vehicles sustained major damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
Witnesses reported that one of the involved vehicles was traveling at high rates of speed and ran a red light, however, it is currently unknown which vehicle that was.
