At about 10:55 pm Friday night, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of West Hawkeye Avenue and Dels Lane, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a silver Chevrolet pickup truck and the other was a silver Honda sedan.
It is currently unknown how many occupants each vehicle had, however, one person suffered moderate injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
Witnesses reported that the silver Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling westbound making a southbound turn against a green arrow while the silver Honda sedan was traveling eastbound. The silver Honda sedan ran the red light and collided head on with the silver Chevrolet pickup truck.
