At about 5:38 pm Friday evening, the Turlock Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Turlock Fire Department, Keyes Fire Protection District, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in the 600 block of South Washington Road, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located three vehicles involved. One was a red Ford pickup truck, one was a white Chrysler minivan, and the other was a gray Chrysler minivan.
There were a total of at least thirteen occupants throughout the three vehicles, several of which suffered minor to major injuries and were ground transported by American Medical Response to local hospitals. One of the patients suffered major injuries and was airlifted by CalStar Air Medical Services to a local hospital.
All three vehicles sustained moderate to major damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
