At about 8:41 pm Friday night, the Turlock Police Department, California Highway Patrol, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Lander Avenue and northbound State Route 99, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a white Acura sedan and the other was a gray Tesla sedan.
It is currently unknown how many people were in each vehicle, however, one person suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital.
Both vehicles sustained moderate to major damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
