At about 11:26 pm Wednesday night, a Turlock Police officer in the area of Chevron Food Mart, 881 North Golden State Boulevard, on-viewed a vehicle violate a section of the California Vehicle Code and made a traffic stop on it.
When the officer contacted the vehicle’s driver, whose identity is currently unknown, and conducted a record check on him, he discovered that his license had been expired for over two years and that he was on probation for making terroristic threats. A condition of his probation was that he was able to be searched by any peace officer at any time.
A probation search of the subject and his vehicle were conducted, which led to the discovery of narcotics.
The subject was arrested and released on a citation on unknown charges.
