At about 11:50 pm Monday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported commercial burglary in progress at Harbor Freight Tools, 2800 North Tegner Road, Turlock. The caller reported that he was a member of management at the business and that he had received a notification from his alarm company advising him of a burglar alarm activation. When he responded to investigate, he found that the businesses’ front door was pried open.
When officers arrived on scene, they searched both the exterior and the interior of the business, finding no one.
Officers began investigating and checked surveillance camera footage. The footage showed that a subject had walked up to the businesses’ front door around 11:10 pm, pried it open, entered, and then exited a short while later fleeing southbound on foot.
