At about 9:52 pm Tuesday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported hit and run vehicle collision with no injuries in the 1000 block of Boxwood Way, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they located three vehicles involved. One was a white Ford pickup truck, one was a silver Hyundai sedan, and the other was a silver Toyota sedan.
The white Ford pickup truck had one occupant who had fled northbound on foot after the collision. The other two vehicles were both parked on the side of the road and unoccupied when the collision occurred.
The white Ford pickup truck and silver Toyota sedan both sustained moderate damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away. The silver Hyundai sedan sustained minor damage and was left at the scene.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
Officers checked the area for the subject who had fled on foot, however, he was not located.
The investigation remains on-going.
