At about 1:19 am Saturday morning, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a security check in the 0 block of East Canal Drive, Turlock. The caller reported that there was a male subject in a white Honda sedan parked on the westbound side of East Canal Drive just east of Geer Road who was constantly revving his engine.
Officers arrived on scene and got out with the subject who exhibited signs of intoxication. Officers pulled him out and conducted standardized field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, officers developed probable cause for an arrest.
The subject was arrested and released on a citation on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater, and driving with a suspended license.
His identity is currently unknown.
His vehicle was authority towed from the scene.
