At about 8:56 pm Saturday night, a Turlock Police officer near the Roger K Fall Transit Center, 1418 North Golden State Boulevard, Turlock, on-viewed a vehicle commit a violation of the California Vehicle Code. The officer got behind the vehicle and signaled it to pull over by activating his emergency lights when the vehicle pulled into the transit center.
The officer made contact with the vehicle’s two occupants, later identified as Sylvia Galvan, 44, of Turlock, and Genevieve Quintero, 43, of San Mateo. The officer then conducted a records check on them which revealed that they both had several misdemeanor warrants and Quintero had a felony warrant for auto theft.
Both subjects were arrested on those warrants. Sylvia was released on a citation while Quintero was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
