At about 6:59 pm Saturday evening, the Turlock Police Department, Stanislaus State Police Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with unknown injuries at the intersection of West Monte Vista Avenue and Crowell Road, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a white GMC pickup truck and the other was a silver Ford SUV.
The white GMC pickup truck had one occupant, its driver, who was uninjured. The silver Ford SUV had two occupants, its driver and a passenger. The driver was uninjured, however, the passenger, who was a pregnant female, suffered minor injuries and was ground transported to a local hospital by American Medical Response.
The white GMC pickup truck sustained moderate damage while the silver Ford SUV sustained minor damage. Both vehicles were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
The driver of the white GMC pickup truck, whose identity is not being released because he is a juvenile, was arrested and released on a citation on charges of driving without a valid license.
