Man with Felony Warrant Arrested During Traffic Stop

At about 10:43 pm Sunday night, a Turlock Police officer in the area of Walgreens, 1591 Geer Road, Turlock, made a traffic stop on a vehicle after he on-viewed it violate a section of the California Vehicle Code.

The officer made contact with the vehicle’s occupants, including a passenger, later identified as Edvard Yengheje, 30, of Turlock. After the officer conducted a records check on Yengheje, he discovered that he had an active felony warrant out for his arrest.

Yengheje was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on that warrant. The driver of the vehicle was lectured and released for her California Vehicle Code violation.
