At about 11:32 pm Monday night, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported aggravated assault that had just occurred at Arco AMPM, 2301 Fulkerth Road, Turlock, where the infamous Donald Kando, 42, of Turlock, had just been stabbed in the back.
Kando suffered moderate non-life threatening injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital, which he was later released from.
Officers began investigating and discovered that an unidentified hispanic male had chased Kando down and stabbed him once in the back before fleeing the scene.
The investigation remains on-going.
