At about 6:55 am Wednesday morning, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Amar Beer, Wine, & Gas, 1570 East Avenue, Turlock.
The suspect’s description was relayed to responding officers who saturated the area within minutes and checked it, but were unable to locate him.
Officers began investigating and determined that the suspect entered the store armed with a gun, demanded money, and left in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white male adult in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and is a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray jacket and black jeans.
