Vehicle’s Trunk Contents Randomly Catch Fire

At about 9:51 pm Wednesday evening, the Turlock Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the 2100 block of Xavier Avenue, Turlock.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a light smoke emitting from a white Ford SUV. Firefighters forced entry into the vehicle and found miscellaneous items smoldering in the trunk.

Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out.

The Turlock Police Department responded to investigate for possible arson, however, no obvious signs of it were found.
