At about 10:28 pm Friday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with no injuries at the intersection of East Avenue and Colorado Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located two vehicles involved. One was a silver Toyota sedan and the details of the other one are currently unknown.
The driver of the silver Toyota sedan, whose identity is currently unknown, had fled the scene, however, was later located up the road. She did not suffer any injuries and she was the only occupant of the vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle also did not suffer any injuries.
Officers noticed signs of intoxication coming from the driver of the silver Toyota sedan and had her participate in field sobriety tests. Based on those tests, officers determined that she was intoxicated. She was placed under arrest.
The silver Toyota sedan suffered minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene, however, it was authority towed because its driver was arrested. Details on damage on the other vehicle remain unknown, however, it was able to be driven away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
The driver of the silver Toyota sedan was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on unknown charges.
