At about 9:40 pm Friday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with no injuries at the intersection of Lander Avenue and Castor Street, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a single vehicle involved, which was a white Infiniti sedan.
The vehicle had two occupants, both of which were uninjured.
Officers noticed signs of intoxication coming from the driver of the vehicle, whose identity remains unknown, and asked him to participate in standardized field sobriety tests. The subject refused and he was subsequently placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated based on the officer’s observations.
The passenger of the vehicle also had several warrants, two of which were felonies. He was also arrested.
Both subjects were booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on unknown charges.
The vehicle sustained minor damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred. It is currently unknown what the vehicle collided with.
