Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

At about 8:56 pm Thursday night, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Chevron ExtraMile, 3420 West Monte Vista Avenue, Turlock.

Officers arrived on scene and began investigating, learning that a subject had entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded currency from the clerk. The clerk complied and gave the subject an undisclosed amount of currency, before he fled the store on foot, possibly heading southbound on North Tegner Road.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black hat, black mask, black hoodie, white gloves, gray sweatpants, and white Nike shoes. The gun used was a black handgun.

Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.

The investigation remains on-going.
