At about 4:30 pm Wednesday afternoon, Turlock Police detectives rearrested Alejandro Daniel Valenzuela, 26, of Turlock, while he was still in custody.
Valenzuela was originally arrested on January 26th for possession of child pornography and distributing child pornography. During that arrest, several of Valenzuela’s electronic devices were seized.
Search warrants were obtained to forensically search those devices. The service of those warrants led to the discovery of several videos which depicted prepubescent children in public restrooms. The evidence suggested that the videos were secretly recorded by Valenzuela. The locations where Valenzuela had recorded these videos is unknown and none of the victims have been identified.
Additionally, there were over 900 videos which depicted infants and toddlers being sexually abused.
Although no victims have come forward at this time, detectives urge anyone who may have witnessed Valenzuela committing these crimes or suspect that their child may have been a victim come forward.
The investigation remains on-going. Anyone with information that could assist in the investigation is encouraged to call Detective Tim Redd at 209-664-7325.
