At about 12:49 am Saturday morning, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Briarwood Apartments, 351 East Monte Vista Avenue, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they met with the victim, who was a security guard working at the complex. He told them that as he was sitting in his vehicle, two males approached his vehicle, one on either side, surprising him. The one on the driver side then brandished a black handgun and ordered him out of the vehicle. He complied and both the suspects got into his vehicle and sped away heading eastbound on East Monte Vista Avenue.
The suspects were described by the victim as two males in their twenties wearing dark colored clothing and face coverings.
