At about 11:32 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of North Golden State Boulevard and East Olive Avenue, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved, a black Kia hatchback and a white Subaru sedan. The black Kia hatchback was rolled over on its side.
Both vehicles had an unknown number of occupants, however, one of the occupants of the black Kia hatchback was stuck and had to be extricated by fire personnel. They suffered major injuries and were airlifted by CALSTAR Air Medical Services to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
