Truck Participating in “Park and Chill Meet” Leads Officers on High Speed Pursuit

Turlock Man Arrested After Being Caught in Stolen Vehicle

At about 8:52 pm Friday night, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of West Main Street and North Kilroy Road, Turlock, observed a driver violating the California Vehicle Code, so he attempted to make a traffic stop on him.

The driver did not want to stop for the officer and a pursuit ensued. The driver went westbound on West Main Street all the way up to Faith Home Road, before the officer terminated the pursuit due to safety reasons.

Speeds during the pursuit reached approximately one hundred miles per hour.

The vehicle was in attendance of a truck meet that was advertised as a “park and chill meet” beforehand.

The investigation remains on-going.
