At about 10:48 pm Sunday night, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of southbound State Route 99 and West Main Street, Turlock, observed a driver violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on him.
The officer made contact with the driver, identified as Jeffrey Lambert, 39, of Turlock, who was wearing an Allied Universal security jacket. Lambert stated that he did not work for Allied Universal and had just found the jacket.
When the officer ran a wants and warrants check on Lambert, he discovered that he had two warrants. One was a felony warrant for identity theft and weapon related charges, and the other was a misdemeanor warrant for drug related charges.
Lambert was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
