At about 1:48 am Thursday morning, a Turlock Police officer near Arco AMPM, 210 North Golden State Boulevard, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.
The officer made contact with the vehicle’s occupant, whose identity is currently unknown, and noticed that he was exhibiting symptoms of being intoxicated.
The officer removed the subject from the vehicle and asked him to participate in standardized field sobriety tests and to blow into a preliminary alcohol screening device. The subject refused.
The subject was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater.
