At about 1:09 am Wednesday morning, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Lander Avenue and West Main Street, Turlock, spotted a disabled vehicle blocking a lane of southbound Lander Avenue just south of West Main Street, so he got out with it to help.
The officer felt that the vehicle’s driver, identified as Caleb Thacker, 40, of Turlock, was suspicious, so he had his dispatcher run his information. Thacker returned with a felony warrant for child pornography related charges.
A search of Thacker’s vehicle incident to arrest also led to the discovery of narcotics.
Thacker was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance and his warrant.
