Doris Ann Mourer
December 1940 – May 2022

Doris Ann Mourer of Ceres, CA died on Sunday May 22, 2022 at age 81.

Doris devoted to her life serving the Lord, her Master, her Savior and her Prince of Peace. She looked expectantly to the day she would join Him and other loved ones in heaven. Throughout her life she was active in the church, generously assisting those in need and she developed many meaningful relationships along the way. She passionately prayed for her family and friends, and joyfully shared about the love of Jesus with everyone. She is remembered by her family with love and gratitude as a caring homemaker, who sought perfection in every detail.

Doris is survived by her daughter Joni Thompson Costa of Minnetrista, MN, her grandchildren, Andrew Costa of Wamego, KS, and Megan Costa of Minnetrista, MN; 10 great grandchildren; her brother Albert (Junior) Hinkle of Ceres, CA, her niece, Ruth (Gigi) Vinson of Big Fork, MT, nephew Anthony (Tony) Hinkle of Colorado Springs, CO, nephew Andrew Hinkle of Ceres, CA, and Angela Fontana of Keys, CA. Doris was preceded in death by husband Vernon Mourer, husband James (Jimmy) Leroy Coley, and son James (Jimbo) Coley, Jr. She also leaves behind four stepdaughters, Judy Brose, Anita Coley Heath, and Pinki Gilmore of Santa Cruz, CA, and Joan Coley Faria of Oakdale, CA.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Ceres Cemetery, 1801 E. Whitmore Ave in Ceres. A celebration of life for Doris will follow at Big Valley Grace, Ceres campus, 2701 4th Street in Ceres.
