NOVEMBER 4, 1928 – JUNE 16, 2022

Maria Augusta da Silva Goulart, age 93, of Winton, California passed away at Danish Care Center in Atascadero, Ca. on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Maria was born November 4, 1928 in Ribeirinha, Faial, Acores to Ana da Gloria do Coracao de Jesus Maciel and Manuel Antonio da Silva.

Maria is survived by her son Manuel F. Goulart (Diana Goulart) of Copperopolis; and her daughter Maria de Jesus Pascoal (Jose Pascoal) of Cayucos, Ca. Maria also leaves behind her two grandchildren, Brianna Lynn Goulart (Nick Kis) and Aida Maria Gois (Delcio Gois) along with her six great grandchildren, Nika Lynn Kis, Nimaya Alana Kis, Nicolai Gois, Noah Gois, Dominic Gois and Olivia Gois to honor her memory.

Maria was preceded in death by her spouse Manuel Inacio Goulart; her father Manuel Antonio da Silva and her mother Ana da Gloria do Coracao de Jesus Maciel; her brothers Manuel Antonio Silva, Jose Antonio Silva, and her sisters Ana Albertina Silva, Senhorinha da Gloria da Silva and Maria Augusta da Silveira.

Maria was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, CA 95380.

A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Winton Cemetery District, 7651 Almond Avenue, Winton, CA 95388.

Serving as pallbearers are Nicolai Gois, Noah Gois, Dominic Gois, Olivia Gois, Delcio Gois and Steve Luis.
