At about 2:43 am Thursday morning, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries in the 0 block of Lander Avenue, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a black Honda coupe, which had struck a power pole with high voltage lines.
The vehicle contained a single female occupant who suffered minor injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital.
The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring it to be towed away.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on Lander Avenue just past West Main Street, when for an unknown reason, it veered to the right off of the roadway, went up onto the curb and sidewalk, and struck the pole.
