At about 4:00 am Monday morning, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported suspicious person near the intersection of Geer Road and Wayside Drive, Turlock.

When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with two subjects, including Guillermo Hernandez, 31, of Turlock.

Hernandez immediately began fleeing on foot and destroyed a meth pipe that he was in possession of.

He was eventually caught and determined to be under the influence of drugs due to his erratic behavior.

Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of resisting a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
