At about 9:23 Friday night, a Turlock Police officer near the intersection of Geer Road and Wayside Drive, Turlock, observed a vehicle violate the California Vehicle Code, so he made a traffic stop on it.

The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver and identified him as Terry Fleming, 47, of Sonora. The officer had his dispatcher run Fleming and he returned to be on probation, with one of the terms of his probation being that he and his property can be searched at any time by any peace officer.

During a search of Fleming and his vehicle, the officer located counterfeit currency and narcotics.

Fleming was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of counterfeit currency and possession of a controlled substance.
