At about 7:13 pm Monday evening, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with no injuries at Turlock Fire Station 2, 791 South Walnut Road, Turlock.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a single vehicle involved, a gray Acura coupe, which had struck a small communication pole.
The vehicle had a single occupant who did not suffer any injuries.
The vehicle sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene.
As the vehicle was traveling southbound on South Walnut Road approaching the fire station, its driver lost control of it and allowed it to veer to the right into the fire station’s parking lot. The driver made a left turn in an attempt to correct and allowed his vehicle to go over some rocks and the fire station’s front lawn. The vehicle then struck a small communication pole and reentered the roadway where it came to final rest in front of the fire station.
