At about 10:47 pm Tuesday night, a Turlock Police officer near Arco AMPM, 2301 Fulkerth Road, Turlock, made contact with a man in the parking lot which he recognized and knew to be on probation.

The officer had his dispatcher run the man, Dexter Olson, 31, of Denair, and he returned with a misdemeanor warrant for possession of methamphetamines, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A probation search of Olson’s vehicle was conducted which led to the discovery of pepper spray and drug paraphernalia. Olson is a convicted felon and thus is prohibited from possessing pepper spray and other tear gas weapons.

Olson was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a tear gas weapon by a convicted felon or person convicted of an assault crime and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as his warrant.

However, some weight-loss facilities allow clients to quickly obtain weight-loss medications and leave without providing a thorough medical history or seeking a physician's opinion. You should stay away from these types of locations because they're dangerous and probably won't result in long-term weight loss. Find a facility that focuses on the behavioral treatment or lifestyle counseling instead. They can provide you with the tools you need to make healthy decisions and advice on how to fit exercise into your daily schedule. Some of these tactics include keeping track of your meals and keeping a weekly workout log."
