On Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 9:47 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Matty’s Market, 700 W Main St, Turlock.

The Turlock Police Department was unable to comment on the case due to it not being assigned to a detective yet, however, we do know that at least two shots were fired at some point. It’s unclear if those shots were fired by the suspect or the victim.

The suspect was last seen getting into a vehicle and fleeing the area, however, we’ve decided to not release the vehicle description until given the okay by police.
